This last weekend I went on an off-pavement adventure on a my newly acquired BMW G650 GS adventure bike. The trip was put on by Motoworks Chicago and the Chicagoland Dual-Sport Riders Meetup and featured a mix of pavement, dirt and gravel roads out in the deliciously scenic nowhere of western Illinois. While one day of our two day trip got seriously rained out, we still had giant piles of fun.
